I was in Rome when I designed this nut butter cake that is moist and crunchy at the same time. Like this city at the crux of history and modernity, this cake is riddled with a complexity arising from the rich aroma of ground peanuts and the layer of nutty crumble. The roasted butter toffee almonds on the top complement the crunchy texture with an irresistible melt-in-your-mouth flavor.
