I was in Rome when I designed this nut butter cake that is moist and crunchy at the same time. Like this city at the crux of history and modernity, this cake is riddled with a complexity arising from the rich aroma of ground peanuts. The roasted butter toffee almonds on the top complement the texture with an irresistible melt-in-your-mouth flavor.
