When I moved to Los Angeles from Paris, I didn't speak English very well, but I really wanted to make friends! I had an idea to connect with people by putting my name and unit number on shortbread cookies and gifting them to my neighbors. The personalized cookies were such a hit! Realizing delicious shortbread is a great way to connect and show love, I started a new business offering custom message and logo shortbread cookies. With no connections, no knowledge of the U.S. food market, and only conversational English, I set out to bake up a business that would spread love with every bite and make for a truly special gifting experience. By combining delicious flavor, beautiful design, and personalized messages, DeLight Patisserie was born.

In only the second year of business, I was so proud when my shortbread cookies were featured on The Today Show and ABC World News. High-end retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Anthropologie, The Met Store, and Harry & David started stocking them. We even baked for the Oscars and The Emmy Awards! Today, we are a whole team of women who are passionate about helping people connect and make a sweet impression through a unique gifting and celebration experience.
